IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR COMMISSIONED WORK.

TIME FRAME:

Depending on the size and complexity of the piece, whether or not I have the wood on hand, and amount of orders on deck, commissions can take from two weeks to three months. A time estimate will be provided at the time of the request.

RATES:

Prices will vary based on the complexity of the piece. Any piece over $100 requires at minimum 50% deposit before burning and then the final amount will be due before shipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Information I need to start the commission.

1. An idea of what you want. Please try to be as specific as possible. For example, let me know if you want specific shapes, symbols, words, or animals in your commissioned piece.

2. The size you prefer.

3. What do you want the design on (wood panel, bowl, spoon, charcuterie board, etc).

4. Your contact information and name.

5. An ideal budget range. I will typically provide multiple designs to fit in different spots of that budget.

PROCESS:

1. Contact me via the form above. Once I have this information and I accept the commission, we will negotiate the final price and I will give a time estimate.

2. Upon receiving the 50% deposit, I will begin working on the mock-up. After I send you the mock-up, you can provide me with feedback. I will edit the mock-up at most four times (more edits will bring the final cost of the piece up).

3. Once final sketch is approved, I will begin burning. Once I have finished, the final payment is due. When it is received, I will send the art.
